Time for me to climb into bed and take a little nap. I can barely keep my eyes open. I think I’m going to spend most of the weekend just napping…and man, does that sound good! Direct link here We posted this trailer a little while ago, but I wanted to make sure it got some more time via the ‘End of Day’ thoughts. Approaching sports games on Nintendo systems isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Nintendo fans usually buy Nintendo platforms to play first party games. If they want to play sports titles, they used to end up going elsewhere. Things have slightly changed this time around due to the Wii’s unique control capabilities. It’s that very reason why Tiger Woods on the Wii has become the best-selling version of all that platforms it hits. It looks like EA wants to make the same thing happen with Madden, but they are trying to do so with a different visual approach. Instead of more realistic characters, the trailer above shows much more exaggerated body types. Why this resonates with the Wii market I do not know. I’m hoping that EA has some information that we don’t have. Speaking to the Madden fans out there, does this new visual approach with Madden on the Wii make you any more interested in the game? Personally, I do not play the Madden series, but I would give it a shot if MotionPlus control was added in. That may very well be in the works, but EA isn’t ready to talk about it. As of right now, all we have to discuss is the strange body types. Leave a comment and let us know how you feel.

Stayed up a tad later than usual to get this video to you guys. I hope it’s been worth the wait! I’m dead tired after all that, so I’m off to bed! See you all in a few, short hours. You guys have asked, and asked…and asked. We heard your cries, but we just didn’t have the means to put another series together. That is, until earlier this week. The gang has gotten together to record another set of our MST3K videos, but this time they’ve gotten an proper name. The series will be called ‘The Sprite Rippers’ from here on out. For your viewing pleasure, I’ve put together a little teaser of what’s to come. This video was painstakingly put together to sync up perfectly with the music. Unfortunately the timing is just a hair off after my YouTube upload. The source video is spot-on, but a slight delay is now present after the upload. Dailymotion decided to give me more trouble, so I was forced to take the YouTube route, and this is what happened. Hopefully you’ll still get the same impact that I was gunning for! As Fast as Impossible: 10 Insanely Thrilling Tool-Assisted Speedruns

A portion of a Siliconera review… I would definitely recommend either this game, or one of the Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side DS games, to someone who’s always wanted to try an otome game but has been worried about the language barrier. Ouran DS is easy to play, enjoy and understand, even if your Japanese is only passable. Full review here
